New dawn of development and cultural renaissance dawned in Shri Ayodhya: CM Yogi

Lucknow, Oct 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared his feelings and enthusiasm with the people of the state regarding the Deepotsav, which began after 2017.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on his social media account 'X' that Shri Ayodhya Dham, the best among the seven cities, is thrilled to welcome its 10th grand and divine Deepotsav.
Describing the festival of lights, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote that the banks of the Saryu river, illuminated by the divine glow of millions of lamps, beautiful tableaux enacting scenes from the Ramayana, grand processions, and cultural performances will revive the memories of the Treta Yuga during this festival. Every lamp will symbolize immense devotion to Lord Shri Ram, and every flame will proclaim the glory of our Sanatan culture.
The Chief Minister attacked the previous government, saying, "Before 2017, Lord Shri Ram's beloved city, Ayodhya, was suffering from neglect, chaos, and disrepair. What does the government, which ordered the firing on innocent Ram devotees and committed the sin of forcing people to offer namaz on the steps of the sacred Shri Hanumangarhi, care about the development of 'Ram's Ayodhya'?"
The Chief Minister said that, with the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, a new dawn of development and cultural renaissance has dawned in Shri Ayodhya since 2017.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and through the efforts of the double-engine government, the Ramnagari is regaining its ancient glory. With the magnificent and divine Shri Ram Temple, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, the well-equipped Rampath, the new ghats, modern facilities, and the development of a solar city, Ayodhya has today become a wonderful confluence of faith and modernity.
The Chief Minister said that the most beautiful expression of this rejuvenated glory of Shri Ramnagari is seen in the Deepotsav. The journey of Deepotsav, which began in 2017 with 1.71 lakh lamps, has now become a symbol of the devotion and enthusiasm of millions of Ram devotees across the country and the world. Like every year, this year too, devotees of Lord Ram are poised to set a world record for lighting lamps. This festival of lights is the embodiment of the dreams of generations who, for centuries, cherished the desire to see their Ram's Ayodhya in its Treta Yuga form. Today, each lamp is lit as a symbol of faith's victory over the darkness of appeasement, the rise of cultural self-respect, and the resolve to build a developed India. He ended his post with 'Jai Jai Shri Ram'.
