Rajasthan civic polls: Second phase polling to be held for 147 municipal bodies on Friday

Jaipur, Sep 10 (UNI) As many as 147 civic bodies, including the six municipal corporations of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Kota and Pali, will go to polls in the second phase of the municipal elections in Rajasthan on Friday.
The polling will be held at 9,758 polling booths in 4,852 municipal wards spread across 41 districts of the state.
A total of 87,60,884 voters are eligible to exercise their franchise to decide the fate of a total of 18,266 contestants, a state election commission spokesperson said here this evening.
