Dehradun, Sep 10 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin has termed the Congress party's Haldwani Ramlila Ground Purification ritual controversy as a "divisive conspiracy" by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and politics played by AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.
He also alleged that Congress leaders wanted to defame Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.

Panchkula Police trace family of two-year-old found wandering in Sector 21

Panchkula, Sep 16 (UNI) Panchkula Police reunited a two-year-old child with his family within hours after he was found wandering alone in the Sector 21 market area, a police spokesperson said on Wednesday.
The child, a resident of Maheshpur village, had apparently wandered away from his family and reached the market. Local residents spotted him alone and alerted the police.

Chhattisgarh: NIA court sentences all 10 convicts to death in Jheeram Valley Maoist attack case

Raipur/Jagdalpur, Sep 16 (UNI) More than 13 years after the deadly Jheeram Valley Maoist attack, a special NIA court in Jagdalpur on Wednesday sentenced all 10 convicts to death. Special Judge Ajay Singh Rajput pronounced the sentence against Pramila Modiyam and nine others, five days after the court held them guilty.
