Haryana's Gen Z employment push: 15.09 lakh register for Group D CET, 46,500 get govt jobs in two years, says Saini

Chandigarh, Oct 17 (UNI) Highlighting the growing demand for government employment among Gen Z and the state's efforts to expand career opportunities, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, on Saturday, said 15.09 lakh candidates have registered for the upcoming Group D Common Eligibility Test (CET), while 46,500 youths had secured government jobs during the past two years of the BJP's third consecutive term.
Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh to present his government's two-year progress report, Saini said merit-based recruitment, private-sector placements, skill development and employment opportunities for former Agniveers remained central to Haryana's youth development strategy.
"During the past two years, we have provided government jobs to 46,500 youths without recommendations or bribes," Saini said, highlighting his government's bina parchi, bina kharchi recruitment policy.
