Terrorist hideout busted in J&K’s Rajouri; UBGL rounds, grenades recovered

Jammu, Oct 29 (UNI) A joint team of security forces recovered arms and ammunition, including Under-Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) rounds and hand grenades, from a terrorist hideout in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said today that, acting on a tip-off, the J&K Police, Special Operations Group (SOG) and Army jointly busted a terrorist hideout in the Doba Gali area of Kotranka in Rajouri district during a cordon-and-search operation.
The security forces recovered four Under-Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) rounds, 237 rounds of AK assault rifle ammunition, three hand grenades, 16 pistol rounds, 101 belted rounds of General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) ammunition, one AK rifle bayonet, a bag and a sheet.
"No arrest has been made in this connection while the search operation continued," they said.
