CM Nayab Singh Saini congratulates Indian Women’s Cricket Team on Asian Games Gold

Panchkula, Sep 22 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday congratulated the Indian women’s cricket team for winning the gold medal at the Asian Games 2026, saying the achievement had once again demonstrated the strength and determination of Indian women in sports.
Saini said the Indian women had proved that the daughters of the country were capable of creating history on any sporting field through their talent, hard work and determination.
He particularly congratulated Haryana’s Rohtak-born cricketer Shafali Verma, who was part of the Indian team, saying her presence in the gold-winning squad was a matter of pride for the state.
