Haryana CM Saini congratulates Indian women’s kabaddi team on Asian Games gold

Panchkula, Sept 26 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday congratulated the Indian women’s kabaddi team after it defeated Iran 37-34 to win the gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
India overcame Iran in a closely fought final at the Tokai Citizens Gymnasium to successfully defend the women’s kabaddi title it had won at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
Saini congratulated the entire team on the gold-medal performance and hailed the contribution of Haryana’s players. According to the Haryana government, six players from the state were part of the Indian women’s kabaddi team.
