Women’s cricket gold adds more stars to India’s crown: Haryana minister Anil Vij

Panchkula, Sep 23 (UNI) Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday congratulated the Indian women’s cricket team on its gold-medal triumph at the 2026 Asian Games, saying the team had added “more stars to India’s crown” with its outstanding performance.
Vij said the gold-medal victory was a proud moment for the country and congratulated the entire team for its achievement. He said the success of the women cricketers reflected the growing stature of Indian women in international sport.
The minister extended his congratulations and best wishes to the players, saying their performance had brought fresh glory to the nation.
