Marathon 4.0 is about creating opportunities for women to build sustainable livelihoods: FICCI FLO JKL Chairperson

Jammu, Sep 19 (UNI) Announcing the Marathon 4.0 in collaboration with Jammu Tourism, with a purpose to set up Jammu’s First Women’s Skilling Centre, FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Chairperson, Varsha Bansal on Saturday said that the Marathon is about creating opportunities for women to learn, become skilled and build sustainable livelihoods.
“Marathon 4.0 scheduled for October 4 is a marathon with a heart. It is not just about running; it is about creating opportunities for women to learn, become skilled and build sustainable livelihoods. Every step taken on this route will contribute to a larger purpose of women’s empowerment,” Bansal told reporters here at a press conference.
She highlighted that the route was consciously selected in collaboration with Jammu Tourism to showcase and promote the Four A Resort–Parmandal circuit, a beautiful tourism circuit of Jammu.

Panchkula, Sep 24 (UNI) Six pilgrims, including two children and four women, were killed and more than 20 others injured after a tractor-trolley carrying around 30 people overturned near Pindarsi village in Haryana's Kurukshetra district on Thursday, officials said.
The pilgrims were travelling to Bagad Dham in Rajasthan when the accident occurred near Pindarsi.
