Rajasthan: CM targets Gehlot for "fretting & fuming out of shame & helplessness on outcome of municipal elections"

Jaipur, Sep 24 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma today targeted his predecessor Ashok Gehlot for the latter's alleged act of "changing his stances on issues pertaining to municipal polls" and "taking someone's anger out on some innocent one".
In brief chat with the media on sidelines of a function in Bikaner, the Chief Minister said, "Gehlot Sahib ! Fretting and fuming out of shame and helplessness (on outcome of the municipal elections) would deliver no good, better you introspect on your (& the party's) Karma, acts-errors and omissions ; don't hold responsible the people or the bureaucracy or EVMs or the municipal wards and bodies restructuring by our government, rather focus on your (party) own mistakes, lacunae and deficiencies."
Addressing scribes, Sharma quipped, "Please, ask the ex-CM Sahib, why his stances and words narratives have been changing as per his convenience, earlier he used to say the Chief Minister was not supposed to organise road shows for the local bodies polls, then he changed his stance saying that in response to CMs roadshows our party should hava also reciprocated in same vein, with better planning and management."
Sharma further said that Gehlot Sahib seemed to be annoyed and angry with the state Congress president, then why should he divert his anger for PCC chief to us or other innocent one.
There arises one more question, the CM went on saying, "Why should GehlotJi be angry with PCC chief, because, the party lost in his ward, but, since he himself is responsible for the defeat, why the PCC Chief should be held responsible," he retorted.
Sharma also flagged the previous Gehlot government's decision of creating one new and additional municipal coporation each in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota and dared the Congress leader to justify requirement of two municipal corporations each in the three cities.
He also dismissed Congress' criticism for delimitation of wards and municipal bodies by the incumbent government saying "we have done no wrong in any of our actions, why shouldn't the former CM or his party raised objection on opportune times, why make a hue and cry now after suffering defeats."
"I, with full command, dismiss each and every accusation made by Gehlot and do advise him to introspect on acts of the Congress and his own too, may they act beyond launching of the sons of the party leaders and his son too, or be ready to lose the support bases of the party in two - three remnant states."
The Chief Minister was in Bikaner today, to attend a programme under ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan when he interacted with beneficiaries of the government initiatives and also worshipped the Kalash of sacred water that would join into the Vadnagar Varanasi Kalash yatra at some point en route in the state later on.
