'UP's textile industry reaches new heights due to Yogi govt's policies'

Lucknow, Sep 8 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Textile Industry Minister Rakesh Sachan Tuesday said that the Yogi government's policies and investment-friendly environment have given new impetus to both infrastructure and industries in the state.
He stated that in the financial year 2025-26, handicraft exports from the state were estimated to be worth approximately Rs 35,000 crore, with over 200,000 handloom weavers engaged in this sector, and foreign exports worth over Rs 110 crore. He added that Uttar Pradesh's textile products have gained recognition both nationally and internationally.
