Kashi through its people: Women entrepreneurs find fresh stories with UP Tourism

Varanasi, Oct 8 (UNI) For Delhi-based entrepreneur Deepali Garg, a visit to Varanasi this time offered a perspective far beyond its familiar landmarks. Encounters with Banarasi artisans, visits to its sacred sites and an evening at the Ganga Aarti brought her closer to the people and traditions that shape the city.
Garg is among nearly 50 women entrepreneurs, investors and digital creators taking part in a three-day ‘Visit My State’ journey organised by Uttar Pradesh Tourism in coordination with FICCI FLO. The October 7-9 programme is aimed at encouraging deeper exploration of Uttar Pradesh while creating opportunities for local enterprises, artisans and tourism stakeholders.
Her response reflects the objective of the three day ‘Visit My State’ journey: turning first hand experiences of cuisine, craft, faith and heritage into new travel narratives, market connections and collaborations.
