AP: Four students killed as express train run over them

Srikakulam, Sep 23 (UNI) In a ghastly incident, four students were killed and another student was critically injured when an express train ran over them at Burma colony near Tekkali town of the district on Wednesday.
Police said that five students were walking on the railway track towards Tekkali. The Rajyarani express train ran over them from the rear end killing four students and critically injuring another student.
The deceased students were studying Intermediate first year at a college in Tekkali. The deceased were identified as Visakha Rao (16), Dilil Kumar (17), Shiva (16) and Sharat (17). The injured student Salman Raju was admitted to the SIMS hospital in Srikakulam.

Repalle, Oct 1 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu Thursday announced that the government will approach the Supreme Court on the AP High Court’s verdict, dismissing the government’s decision to provide 34 per cent reservations to the BCs in the rural urban bodies and 33.33 per cent reservations in the urban local bodies in the ensuing elections. .
