AP: Coaching centres should not become platforms for politically activities: CM

Vijayawada, Sep 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that private coaching centres should not become platforms for political activities or politically motivated conspiracies.
The Chief Minister made the comments in the backdrop of a few recent incidents in which some individuals exerted pressure on the private coaching centers to indulge in tarnishing the image of the State government.
At a review meeting with the officials here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister directed them to take appropriate action against coaching centres found to be functioning in violation of the prescribed rules. Officials informed the Chief Minister that certain private coaching centre managements were allegedly putting pressure on candidates preparing for competitive examinations and encouraging them to participate in protests and agitations.
