AP CM to distribute title deeds of houses to 25,880 families

Vijayawada, Sep 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will distribute title deeds of house sites to 25,880 families in Visakhapatnam on September 19.
Informing this media here on Thursday, Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad with the aim of providing houses to the houseless poor, the government had issued a GO to give title deeds of house sites to the poor.
The Naidu government, upon assuming power in Andhra Pradesh in 2024, issued various Government Orders (GOs) to grant rights to the poor who had built homes on government lands in locations where there were no objections.
“As part of these Government Orders (GOs), full property rights are being granted to 25,880 individuals across 11 mandals in Visakhapatnam district alone. Similarly, housing plots for 24,000 families in Vijayawada are set to be regularized in the near future. Rights over house sites have already been granted to 12,000 people across all districts of the state under GO No. 30, and another 9,000 pending applications are slated for resolution as soon as possible,” the Revenue Minister revealed.
The Revenue Minister informed that on the directions of Minister for Education Nara Lokesh, title deeds of house sites were regularized for 5,000 families in the Mangalagiri constituency alone.
In Visakhapatnam, title deeds for house sites covering approximately 400 acres are being regularized for 25,880 people, Minister Anagani Satya Prasad said.
