Hyderabad, June 23 (UNI) The Telangana Cabinet, led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, is set to meet at 1500 hours on Monday to deliberate on key issues, including the Banakacherla project proposed by Andhra Pradesh and the upcoming local body elections.
This will be the first cabinet meeting after the Chief Minister’s decision to hold such meetings twice a month as part of regular governance. The agenda includes discussions on irrigation projects, welfare schemes, the state's financial position, implementation of the Bhu Bharati Act, and other significant matters.
Although local body elections were initially planned for July, they may be postponed to August due to the time required to finalise reservations.
The cabinet is also expected to extensively examine the potential adverse effects of the Banakacherla project on Telangana.
