Telangana: Voter notice resolution process simplified further, says CEO Reddy

Hyderabad, Sep 17 (UNI) The Election Commission of India has further simplified the process for resolving notices issued to voters, Chief Electoral Officer C Sudarshan Reddy said on Thursday.
He said any adult family member of the concerned voter could now appear before the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) or Assistant ERO (AERO) and submit the required documents and information for resolving the notice. Officials were directed to accept the documents and take necessary action, while District Election Officers were asked to review pending notices and facilitate their resolution.
Regarding Form-6 applications, the CEO directed officials to obtain the prescribed declaration form for all pending and future applications, considering October 1, 2026 as the qualifying date. He instructed officials to ensure that the voter-list revision process was carried out strictly in accordance with Election Commission guidelines, according to an official statement from the CEO's office said.
