Solidarity March taken out in Support of Operation Sindoor

Vijayawada, May 17 (UNI) Vijayawada Division of South-Central Railway (SCR) organized a solidarity march here on Saturday in support of Operation Sindoor, demonstrating unwavering patriotism and unity.

The march was spearheaded by Narendra A Patil, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division alongside senior officials and over 500 railway staff, RPF personnel, members of Bharat Scouts & Guides, and students from various schools.

The rally commenced from Gandhi Ji Statue, Clock Tower (East Side), Vijayawada and culminated at Bapu Waiting Hall, Platform No. 1, Vijayawada Railway Station passing through DRM Office and Jack n Jill School.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with participants carrying the Tricolour National Flag and echoing powerful slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan". Citizens, passengers, and pedestrians also joined in unison, reinforcing the spirit of solidarity and national pride.

Upon reaching Bapu Waiting Hall, DRM Narendra A Patil addressed the gathering, commending the armed forces for the triumphant success of Operation Sindoor. He emphasized the need to uproot terrorism in all forms and praised the collective strength of the nation in standing united against adversities. He also extended his appreciation to the Personnel Department for organizing the inspiring Tiranga Rally.

Senior officials, including PE Edwin, ADRM (Infrastructure), Srinivasa Rao Konda, ADRM (Operations) Branch Officers from all departments, actively participated in the march, demonstrating their commitment to national integrity and support for the armed forces.

Saturday conducted searches at the residences of former AIADMK Minister Sevur

disproportionate to his known sources of income when he was serving as HR and
CE Minister during the previous AIADMK regime.
Reports said the raids were also carried out at locations linked to his two sons,
Vijayakumar and Santoshkumar, in Tiruvannamalai and Vellore districts respectively.

Five drown, 3 escape as Van plunges in 50 ft deep well
