Seva Sankalp Abhiyan promotes public service, environmental protection: Ramchander Rao

Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) BJP Telangana State President N Ramchander Rao said the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, launched to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years as a public representative and head of government, was fostering a spirit of public service and social responsibility among people.
Participating as chief guest in a tree plantation programme at Tarnaka here on Thursday, Ramchander Rao said the month-long campaign was being conducted across Telangana from September 17 to October 17.
He said BJP cadres, with public participation, were organising blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, shramadan and other service activities across the State. He urged people not only to plant saplings but also to nurture and protect them to ensure a clean and healthy environment for future generations.
Ramchander Rao said the BJP was working to take the spirit of public service and environmental consciousness to every section of society. Local BJP leaders and activists participated in large numbers in the programme.
