BJP holds Seva Sankalp programme in Malkajgiri

Hyderabad, Oct 6 (UNI) A special service programme involving Anganwadi children and workers was held at Bihar Basti in Malkajgiri as part of the BJP’s nationwide Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
BJP Telangana State President N Ramchander Rao attended the Angan Milan Seva Abhiyan as the chief guest. He visited the Anganwadi centre, interacted with children and Anganwadi teachers, and distributed nutritious food, school bags, books and other educational materials to the children.
Speaking to the media, Ramchander Rao said such programmes were being conducted across the country with a focus on child welfare and women’s empowerment. He highlighted the role of Anganwadi teachers and ASHA workers in providing healthcare and childcare services at the grassroots level.
He said their services were valuable despite their low remuneration and recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for greater recognition and respect for their work. On the occasion, Anganwadi and ASHA workers were felicitated with shawls.
Local BJP leaders, party workers, Anganwadi staff and residents participated in the programme in large numbers.
