Man beheads wife over illicit affair near Bengaluru

Bengaluru, June 7 (UNI) In a shocking incident at Heelalige village in Anekal, Bengaluru Rural, a man allegedly beheaded his wife after discovering her illicit relationship.
The accused, Shankar (28), surrendered at Surya Nagar Police Station following the crime.
According to police, Shankar returned home past midnight after duty to find his wife, Manasa (26), with another man.
He confronted them and drove them away from the house.
Later, Manasa returned seeking reconciliation, which led to a heated argument between the couple.
In the heat of the confrontation, Shankar reportedly beheaded Manasa before proceeding to the police station to surrender himself.
Surya Nagar Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter. Further details are awaited.
