Alert CISF Jawan averts major fire mishap at Madras High Court, douses scooter fire

Chennai, Sep 28 (UNI) An alert CISF personnel deployed on security duty at the Madras High Court on Monday averted a possible fire mishap after a scooter parked at the Sierra-4 screening point, opposite Indian Bank, suddenly caught fire.
The CISF jawan D. Manna on duty at the screening point, spotted the flames and reacted within moments, grabbing a fire extinguisher and dousing the blaze before it could spread to nearby vehicles or the court premises.
The incident passed off without any injury or disruption to court functioning, with normalcy restored at the screening point within minutes, a CISF statement said.
