Hyderabad, June 28 (UNI) Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka today paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister and Telangana’s proud son, PV Narasimha Rao (PVNR), on his birth anniversary at Praja Bhavan.
Accompanied by Warangal Mayor Gundu Sudharani and Congress leaders Kunja Surya and Regulapati Ramya Rao, Minister Seethakka offered floral tributes to the portrait of PV and recalled his remarkable contributions to the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, she hailed PV as the architect of India’s economic reforms and a true champion of the poor. “He was not only a polyglot, but also deeply understood the pain and struggles of the people,” she said.
She highlighted PV’s role in implementing land reforms, distributing lakhs of acres to SCs, STs, and BCs, and his significant efforts in improving education and healthcare. “PV Narasimha Rao’s legacy lives on through the many welfare schemes he initiated. He remains an inspiration to us all,” Seethakka stated, calling the tribute a token of respect to one of Telangana’s greatest sons.
