Telangana: Chamala challenges KTR to prove assigned land allegations

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (UNI) Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday challenged BRS Working President K T Rama Rao to prove allegations that he possessed assigned land, stating that he was ready to surrender any such land to the authorities if the claims were established.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Chamala alleged that he was being targeted because he had exposed alleged land dealings involving BRS leaders.
He accused KTR and other BRS leaders of spreading misinformation through social media, including allegedly tampered audio recordings and AI-generated images.
Referring to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s presentation on alleged corruption during the previous BRS government’s nine-and-a-half-year tenure, the MP questioned the opposition’s claims and cited the Rs 8 lakh crore debt accumulated during that period.
Chamala said he was willing to cooperate with officials in verifying any allegations concerning assigned lands, properties listed under Section 22-A restrictions or other illegal land holdings linked to him.
He urged the BRS leaders to present evidence before the public rather than resorting to what he described as political theatrics.
