Owaisi seeks clarity from Centre on alleged Chinese intrusions along Arunachal border

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday expressed concern over the situation along the Arunachal Pradesh border with China, demanding clarification from the Centre on reports of Chinese troops allegedly intruding into Indian territory and obstructing Indian patrols and civilians.
In a series of posts on social media platform X, Owaisi said the reported confirmation by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Director General was concerning.
He alleged that the Narendra Modi government had kept the country in the dark about developments along the border and said his earlier questions on the issue had gone unanswered.
Owaisi sought details on the number of locations where Chinese troops had allegedly entered, obstructed Indian patrols and civilians, and refused to withdraw.
He also asked how long the situation had continued and questioned the government’s approach towards China during that period.
Questioning the Centre’s ability to safeguard Indian territory, the AIMIM chief called for a comprehensive explanation of the border situation and the government’s response.
