Hyd:Viksit Bharat possible only through women's empowerment: Ramchander Rao

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (UNI) BJP Telangana State President N. Ramchander Rao on Saturday said the goal of building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ could be achieved only through women's empowerment and asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had accorded high priority to the welfare and protection of women's rights during his 25-year public service journey.
Addressing an ‘Angan Milan’ service programme organised at Mallapur as part of the BJP's ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, Rao said societal progress was possible only when women excelled in all fields on par with men.
He lauded the union Government for implementing various schemes aimed at empowering women and enabling them to play a leading role in the country's development.
