Bengaluru, Jun 20 (UNI) BJP State President and MLA Vijayendra Yediyurappa said that Union Home Minister and senior party leader Amit Shah has offered certain suggestions and directions to intensify the fight against the corrupt Congress government in Karnataka.
Speaking to the media today, Vijayendra stated, “This morning, I, along with former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Leader of the Opposition R Ashoka, and Aravind Bellad, met the honourable Amit Shah Ji. We discussed the political situation in the state and current developments.”
He criticised the Congress government’s decision to increase the minority quota in housing schemes under the Housing Department from 10% to 15%, terming it an appeasement measure. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ensuring justice to all—Hindus, minorities, everyone—based on the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas’. The PM’s Kisan Samman scheme provides ₹6,000 to all farmers, not just Hindus,” he pointed out, adding that people from all communities and faiths benefit from the scheme.
