Sabarimala virtual queue booking to begin on Oct 29: Daily limit fixed at 80,000 pilgrims

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 27 (UNI) Virtual queue booking for the forthcoming Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season at Sabarimala will open at 10 am on October 29, with the daily limit for darshan fixed at 80,000 pilgrims, including spot bookings.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Travancore Devaswom Board. Pilgrims can reserve their darshan slots through the official portal, www.sabarimalaonline.org. The online booking facility is free of charge.
Of the daily online quota, 60,000 pilgrims can book slots for the Nilakkal-Pamba route, while 3,000 slots each will be available for those taking the Erumeli forest route and the Vandiperiyar-Sathram route.
