Hyderabad, May 14 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the Saraswati Pushkara Ghat at Triveni Sangam in Kaleshwaram, Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, on the occasion of the Saraswati Pushkaram, which begins on May 15.
After the inauguration, the Chief Minister will take a holy dip and perform rituals at the Kaleshwara Triveni Sangam. Several state Ministers are also expected to participate in the auspicious event, official sources said.
The Saraswati Maha Pushkaram, held once every 12 years, marks the transit of Jupiter (Guru) into the zodiac sign Gemini, which occurred at 10.35 pm on May 14. According to temple priests, the Pushkara Snanam begins the following morning, May 15, with the Sankalpa led by Toguta Ashram Peethadhipathi Madhavananda Saraswati Swamiji, starting at 0544 hours.
