YouTuber ‘Sattai’ Durai Murugan arrested over derogatory remarks against TN Govt

Tiruchirapalli (Tamil Nadu), July 11 (UNI) Controversial Tamil YouTuber and Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) activist ‘Saattai’ Durai Murugan was arrested by the special police team of Tiruchirapalli Cyber Crime Police for his alleged derogatory remarks against the Tamil Nadu government and former Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi on Thursday.
Police said the YouTuber was arrested by a special police team from a hotel at Courtellam in Tenkasi district, following a complaint registered against him for making controversial and derogatory remarks, while campaigning for NTK candidate during the Vikravandi assembly by-election.
Durai Murugan, who is known for making objectionable remarks against leaders of various political parties through his YouTube channel ‘Saattai’ has been arrested previously as well.
