Nisshin, Oct 1 (UNI) Ishan Kishan's blistering unbeaten 80 powered India into the Asian Games men's cricket gold-medal clash as they demolished Sri Lanka by 124 runs in a one-sided semifinal that produced a string of T20 records here on Thursday.
Kishan walked in with India reeling at 59 for three and transformed the innings with a breathtaking 46-ball assault, smashing four fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 173.91.
His counter-attacking knock lifted India to 169 for seven before an unforgiving Indian attack tore through Sri Lanka, bowling them out for just 45 in 9.5 overs.
