Auqib Nabi joins India squad for full NZ ODI series

Auckland, Oct 31 (UNI) India have bolstered their pace-bowling options ahead of their five-match ODI series against New Zealand, as the Men's Selection Committee have added Auqib Nabi to India's squad for the first three ODIs of the upcoming series.
Nabi was initially named in the unit for the fourth and fifth ODIs but will now be available from the beginning of the series, starting, November 4.

The 29-year-old made his debut in last month's second ODI against the West Indies. India have also retained the rest of their originally announced squad for the first three matches, with Nitish Kumar Reddy available only for the opening ODI.
Earlier, India had announced that Prasidh Krishna will sit out the ODI series after being unable to secure a fitness clearance.
The two sides are currently engaged in a five-match T20I series, where India have a unassailable 3-1 lead with the final T20I set for Sunday, November 1.
Nabi has thus far featured in a solitary ODI in which he was wicketless against the West Indies. But the right-arm pacer impressed in the recent India 'A' outing against New Zealand 'A', picking six wickets across two innings of the first-class game, acording to ICC.
