Argentina routs Burkina Faso in friendly

Buenos Aires, Oct 4 (UNI) Argentina scored five first-half goals en route to a 7-0 home victory over Burkina Faso in their friendly here.
Lautaro Martinez opened the scoring in the fourth minute and Moumoune Diallo gifted the hosts
a second goal by inadvertently turning the ball into his own net on Saturday.
Martinez then set up Gianluca Prestianni for Argentina's third goal before Nico Paz and Julian Alvarez further extended the lead before halftime.
Substitute Franco Mastantuono added to Burkina Faso's misery with a 57th-minute strike and Giuliano Simeone completed the rout by finishing clinically in stoppage time.
The result followed Argentina's 4-0 win over Bolivia on Wednesday, the Albiceleste's first appearance since a 1-0 loss to Spain in the World Cup final in July, according to Xinhua.
Argentina will end the international friendly window with a clash against Benin in Buenos Aires
on Tuesday. It will mark Lionel Messi's last appearance for his country after an international career spanning more than two decades.
