Dominant Indian Women blanks Japan 7-0, marches into quarters in Asian Junior Hockey

Moqi, China, Sep 8 (UNI) Continuing their dominant run, Reigning champions Indian Women blanked Japan with a crushing 7-0 verdict to march into the quarterfinals of the Asian Junior Hockey tournament here on Tuesday.
The emphatic win saw India maintain their perfect record in the Elite Group and seal their place in the last eight stage.
Having opened their campaign with a 4-1 win over Korea before thrashing Malaysia 11-1, India carried their attacking momentum into the clash against Japan and took control of proceedings right from the start.
