Maha: Professor dies in road accident in Beed

Beed, June 26 (UNI) A college professor on a motorcycle died after another motorcylist rammed into his bike on the Beed--Parli highway here today.
Police said that Prof Amol Lavhale was riding on his bike when another bike rider coming from behind hit his his two-wheeler on highway.
In this incident, he was seriously injured and died during treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, though Lavhale was wearing a helmet for safety, the helmet clip entered his neck and caused severe bleeding.
He was immediately taken to a private hospital at Shirsala. from where, he was shifted to another private hospital in Parli, where doctors declared him brought dead.
