One dead, 7 injured in bus accident near Sawalghat in Nashik district

Nashik, Oct 7 (UNI) One person was killed and at least seven others were injured in a bus accident at Sawalghat, near Karanjali in Peth taluka of Nashik district, on Monday night.
The control room received information about the accident at 11:07 pm. The accident site is approximately 54 km from Nashik.
Four ambulances were dispatched to the spot to assist the injured. Dindori Rural Hospital was placed on alert as the first point of medical care, with doctors and nursing staff made available to provide treatment.
Two police inspectors and a Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) were also sent to the accident site to coordinate rescue and relief operations. All passengers on the bus were evacuated, according to the preliminary information.
