MHADA Nashik board conducts lottery for 333 tenements

Mumbai, Sep 22 (UNI) The Nashik Housing and Area Development Board, a unit of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), on Tuesday conducted a computerised lottery for the sale of 333 tenements under its various housing projects.
The tenements are located at Pathardi Shiwar, Mhasrul Shiwar, Makhmalabad Shiwar, Chunchale Shiwar, Adgaon Shiwar and Satpur Shiwar in Nashik city, and in Ahmednagar, an official release said.
The lottery was conducted by Board Chairman Ranjan Thakare at the Board office at Ram Ganesh Gadkari Chowk, Nashik.
Chief Officer Shivkumar Avalkante, Deputy Chief Officer Pravin Bagul, Estate Manager Nitin Kulthe, High-Level Monitoring Committee member Prakash Mahajan, Deputy Collector and Special Land Acquisition Officer Ravindra Bharde and District Informatics Officer Vikram Nain were present.
A total of 493 applications were received, of which 341 were accompanied by the requisite Earnest Money Deposit.
Speaking on the occasion, Thakare said the Board has made a substantial number of affordable houses available through lotteries over the last one-and-a-half years, and similar lotteries will be held in future.
