Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Mama Rajwade, others booked for threatening jeweller in Nashik

Nashik, July 1 (UNI) A case has been registered against Mama Rajwade, the newly appointed Nashik Metropolitan chief of Shiv Sena (Thackeray) and a supporter of deputy leader of the party Sunil Bagul, along with others for allegedly threatening and beating a city-based jeweller over uploading of a video against Bagul.
RSS supporter and jeweller Gaju Ghodke has mentioned in the police complaint that the above suspects allegedly pressured him to delete the video of alleged corruption by deputy leader Sunil Bagul on Facebook.
Meanwhile, along with Rajwade, a case has also been registered against Malegaon Stand Mitra Mandal president Sagar Deshmukh and others.
The names of the suspects are Sagar Deshmukh, Mama Rajwade, Amol Patil, Lakhan Donde, Lakhan Jhurdaya, Vilas Sanse and their 20 associates.
According to the details of complaint of Gaju Ghodke, a few years ago, while doing social service work with Sunil Bagul of the Shiv Sena (Thackeray) group, it was noticed that Bagul was doing wrong work. Therefore, on June 27, he made a video and alleged that Bagul's money was misappropriated and that he had amassed wealth worth crores of rupees and that the Enforcement Directorate should take action.
As soon as this video was uploaded on social media, Bagul's supporter Bala Pathak asked him to delete the said video.
According to Ghodke, Mama Rajwade and Sagar Deshmukh called him and told him to 'Delete the video about Sunil Bagul'. After that, on June 30, the suspects barged into his house, beat him with bricks and threatened him with a knife.
After the family screamed upon seeing the beating, Rajwade threatened to kill them, vandalised the house, damaged it and stole a gold chain from him and Rs one lakh from the house.
A complaint in this regard has been filed with Bhadrakali Police.
A search is underway for the suspects and Rajwade could not be contacted.
