Creative foundation marks Navratri with donations to community organisations

Pune, Oct 18 (UNI) The Creative Foundation celebrated Navratri by donating utility items to community organisations, anganwadis and other institutions as part of its continued efforts to support social causes through in-kind assistance.
Foundation president Sandeep Khardekar said the organisation had consistently supported institutions, associations and temples by providing useful items instead of cash donations. He said the foundation planned to focus more of its resources on supporting persons with disabilities, senior citizens, needy patients and children with special needs.
As part of the Navratri celebrations, speaker sets were donated to anganwadi workers in residential areas through the initiative of Chandrakant Patil and corporator Manjushree Khardekar.
Anganwadi workers Sangita Vandre, Aruna Tonde, Sunita Mutkule and Namrata Dahibhate, along with BJP Mahila Aghadi president Manishatai Ladkat and Kothrud Mahila Aghadi president Amruta Devgaonkar, were present on the occasion.
Painting kits were distributed to girls at St. Crispin's Home in Nal Stop by corporator Manjushree Khardekar. Madhavi Samuel and foundation trustee Pratik Khardekar were also present. Manjushree Khardekar said the girls were delighted to receive gifts of their choice.
The foundation also donated chairs to Sheetaladevi Temple. Kunal Tonde, Sagar Tangade, Umesh Dhadwe, Shubham Veer, Ganesh Gaware and Aniket Machale attended the programme.
Manjushree Khardekar said providing useful items to institutions and communities had become a defining feature of the foundation's work.
