Persons imprisoned in Nashik during Emergency to be honoured

Nashik, June 24 (UNI) The persons who were imprisoned in Nashik district during the Emergency period from 1975 to 1977 will be honored tomorrow at the District Collector's Office, Nashik.
This information has been given by Resident Deputy District Collector Rajendra Wagh through a press release today.

The government has decided to honor the persons from Nashik district who were imprisoned for social and political reasons under MISA and IR while fighting the Emergency imposed in the country from 1975 to 1977.
They will be presented certificates of honour signed by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
On this occasion, a photo exhibition has been organised by the District Information Office. UNI RDS SSP
