Maha: Sharad Pawar admitted to Pune hospital; condition stable

Pune, Nov 2 (UNI) Veteran Maharashtra politician and Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) chief Sharad Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic here after he developed cough, his daughter and Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule said today.
In a post on social media, Ms Sule said Pawar had been admitted to the hospital due to a cough and that his medical investigations were underway. She added that his condition is stable.
Due to a cough, "Baba" ( father) has been admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune. All his medical tests are underway and his condition is stable. Thank you for your love and wishes," Ms Sule stated.
Pawar had been on a three-day tour of drought-affected areas in Maharashtra, which began on Monday. He had visited drought-hit areas in Solapur district and was scheduled to visit Dharashiv district. However, his tour was reportedly cancelled before he was admitted to the Pune hospital.
A team of senior doctors at Ruby Hall Clinic is monitoring his health, and he is currently undergoing treatment. Doctors have reportedly advised him to take rest for two days. UNI SP SS
