BJP Alleges Congress Workers Face Suspension And Denial Of Election Tickets For Skipping Rahul Gandhi Delhi March

Mumbai, Oct 12 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday claimed that Congress office-bearers in Maharashtra were threatened with suspension and denial of opportunities to contest future elections if they failed to participate in Rahul Gandhi's march to the Supreme Court in Delhi over alleged 'Vote Chori' and irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
Maharashtra BJP chief spokesperson Navnath Ban made the claim while referring to an audio clip purportedly containing instructions issued to Youth Congress functionaries.
Addressing a press conference at the state BJP office here, Ban alleged that Youth Congress general secretary and Maharashtra in-charge Ajay Chikara had directed party office-bearers to reach Delhi to participate in the demonstration. According to Ban, the instructions were accompanied by warnings that those failing to comply could face suspension and might not be given opportunities to contest elections in the future.
