Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa

Pune, May 21 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy Rainfall with isolated Extremely Heavy Rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday.
Heavy to very heavy Rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra. Heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Marathwada, the IMD bulletin said.
Thunderstorms with wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph are very likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph are very likely at isolated places over Vidarbha. Squally weather with wind speed 35 kmph to 45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph prevailing along and off the south Konkan and Goa coasts during the next 24 hours.
Rainfall is likely at many places over Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra; at a few places over Marathwada and Vidarbha during the next 24 hours, the IMD said.
The following observations for the past 24 hrs were recorded at 8-30 am on Wednesday.
