21 dead as heavy rains trigger floods and landslides across Nepal

Kathmandu, Sep 29 (UNI) At least 21 people have died in western and south-central Nepal after persistent heavy rains triggered floods, landslides and inundation, displacing more than 1,500 people and damaging hundreds of homes.
The deaths have been reported in Baglung, Palpa, Myagdi and Dhanusha districts.
According to preliminary data from the Gandaki Province Police Office, 11 people have died, four have been injured and four remain missing in rain-related incidents across the province.

Jerusalem, Oct 2 (UNI) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Friday that authorities were investigating whether the FlyDubai co-pilot accused of attempting to crash the TelAvivi-bound flight with 174 people on board could have been "dispatched" by some third party, or was just an individual attempt, vowing that if there was a third party who sent him then they would "pay a very heavy price.".

Egypt warns Israeli Al-Aqsa incursions seek to alter status quo, impose ‘new reality’

Cairo, Oct 2 (UNI) Egypt has condemned the entry of hundreds of Israeli settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, warning that repeated incursions and religious rituals at the holy site were aimed at altering its established historical and legal status quo and creating a “new reality.”
In a statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said the incursions, accompanied by what it described as provocative acts and religious rituals in the mosque’s courtyards, constituted violations of the historical and legal arrangements governing Jerusalem’s holy sites.
