Andy Burnham vows stronger UK role on global security, AI and Ukraine at UNGA

New York, Sept 23 (UNI) British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has called for a stronger international response to security threats, disinformation, climate change and the rapid development of artificial intelligence, declaring that Britain is ready to play a greater role in bringing countries together to tackle global challenges.
Addressing the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, Burnham said Britain has learned important lessons from the upheaval of the past decade, including the period since Brexit, and is now seeking to build a more stable, dynamic and outward-looking country.
“Britain is back,” Burnham said, outlining his vision for the decade ahead and stressing the need to restore stability, strengthen the economy and work with other countries to address shared problems.
