Trump says US willing to help Russia tackle potential pneumonic plague outbreak

Washington, Oct 6 (UNI) US President Donald Trump has said that Washington will help Russia respond to a potential case of pneumonic plague, although he added that he has not spoken to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the situation.
"We just heard about it," Trump told reporters on Monday when asked about the reported death of a Russian laboratory worker who may have been exposed to plague bacteria.
"We'll help them," he added. "We'll help them as much as we can."
