Patna, Apr 28 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday inspected ongoing construction works of double decker bridge on Ashok Rajpath here and directed the authorities to ensure its early completion.
Kumar along with senior officials and engineers, reached Ashok Rajpath in Patna and inspected ongoing construction works of double decker bridge. Double decker bridge is being constructed from Kargil Chowk to NIT More, in the span of 2.2 KMs.
" Once completed, double decker bridge will greatly help the people, going to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) and other locations on Ashok Rajpath, ' the chief Minister said adding that students of Patna University and National Institute of Technology
(NIT) would have comfort in reaching their colleges.
Earlier, Kumar also inspected underground subway for pedestrians being constructed between GPO roundabout and Patna junction to ease traffic congestion.
Pedestrians would have comforts in going to Patna junction from GPO roundabout as multi level parking building had also been constructed near GPO roundabout for parking vehicles. Latest technology has been used to equip subway and multi level parking, with all facilities.
Construction works of subway and double decker bridge would be completed soon.
