Panchkula, Oct 23 (UNI) Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) has approved an interest-free festival advance of Rs 15,000 for eligible Class-IV employees and an 8.33 per cent bonus for eligible staff for 2025-26.
Officials have also been instructed to expedite the pending formalities to provide cashless medical benefits to pensioners and family pensioners.
As per separate orders issued by the corporation, applications for the festival advance must be submitted by October 24, with disbursement to be completed by October 30. Bonus payments are due by November 30.
The Rs 15,000 festival advance is available to eligible permanent and temporary regular Class-IV employees, as per Haryana Finance Department guidelines. The advance will be recovered in 10 equal monthly instalments of Rs 1,500, without interest.
According to the bonus order dated October 21, employees with monthly wages not exceeding Rs 21,000 and who have completed at least 30 working days during 2025-26 are eligible for an 8.33 per cent bonus under the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965.
The wage ceiling for bonus calculation is set at Rs 7,000 per month. Employees earning below this amount will receive a bonus based on their actual eligible wages.
The bonus decision was approved by the HVPNL Board of Directors at its October 9 meeting.
The corporation has instructed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers to urgently complete and update pending records of pensioners and family pensioners on the National Informatics Centre (NIC) portal to facilitate access to cashless medical benefits.
These directions follow concerns about incomplete pension records despite repeated reminders. Officials have been asked to identify pending cases and complete verification and data updates on priority.
HVPNL has also directed pensioners and family pensioners to submit their annual life certificates in November to ensure timely pension payments. Certificates may be submitted at designated offices and banks or digitally through the Jeevan Pramaan portal and Vidyut Pension Mitra application, where applicable.
