Odisha INDIA bloc calls October 8 bandh over MMDR Act, textbook errors, CEC issue

Bhubaneswar, Sep 30 (UNI) OPCC president Bhakta Charan Das on Wednesday appealed to farmers, workers, students, teachers, employees and people from all sections of society to extend support to the October 8 Odisha bandh called by the INDIA bloc over three major issues.
Addressing the media after the meeting, Das, speaking on behalf of the INDIA bloc, said the agitation would be organised across villages, towns, blocks and cities throughout the state.
“Thousands of people will come out on the streets on the day of the Odisha bandh and are prepared to go to jail,” he said.
