Om Prakash Rajbhar asks Akhilesh Yadav to rename Samajwadi Party as "AI-wadi"

Lucknow, Oct 25 (UNI) Om Prakash Rajbhar, president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) and Panchayati Raj minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, on Sunday launched an incisive satirical attack on Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav over AI-created videos to celebrate festivals.
In a social media post, Rajbhar quipped that if Akhilesh Yadav is so fond of AI, he should change his party's name from "Samajwadi" to "AI-wadi." He alleged that the people-centric ideology and principles on which the Samajwadi Party was founded have been reduced to AI videos and social media politics.
Rajbhar remarked that it appears he (Akhilesh) is trying to make up for his inability to celebrate the local Saifai Mahotsav by using AI generated videos.
Rajbhar said that the Samajwadi Party was founded by Akhilesh's father and former Chief Minister, the late Mulayam Singh Yadav, based on the principles of leaders like Jai Prakash Narayan, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Acharya Narendra Dev, Karpoori Thakur, Chaudhary Charan Singh, and Janeshwar Mishra. According to him, today the party's politics seems to be limited to AI videos and social media.
In a sarcastic attack on Akhilesh Yadav, the BSP president said, "the person once called the political successor of son of the soil Mulayam Singh Yadav is now happy sitting in an air-conditioned room and making AI videos".
He said that politics is achieved by going to villages, among the poor, and farmers, and by toiling on the ground, not by dancing and singing on a mobile screen and making AI reels.
Rajbhar also alleged that Akhilesh Yadav has been out of power for nearly 10 years and should have been regularly interacting with the public.
Rajbhar said that if Akhilesh Yadav had wanted, he could have visited different villages in the state in recent years, meeting people and listening to their problems. He alleged that instead, more attention was paid to social media and air-conditioned room politics.
He claimed that now, when political ground is slipping, instead of reaching out to the public, party workers and supporters are being entertained by making AI videos.
Rajbhar said that the non-Yadav backward classes and Bahujan community of Uttar Pradesh are no longer going to be influenced by old political slogans and claims. He said that the extremely backward classes and Bahujans need leaders who mingle with them, understand their problems, and fights for them.
Rajbhar said that public trust cannot be gained by making AI videos on the internet, leaving aside the politics of the fields and villages.
Referring to the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Rajbhar launched a direct political attack on Akhilesh Yadav. He claimed that the poor people of the state will respond to the politics of AI videos in the elections.
Rajbhar said that in 2027, the public will give such a reply that it will be difficult for the Samajwadi Party to maintain its political position. Alluding to the SP's election symbol, he said "one might even have to search for the bicycle's handlebars". UNI MBD CDS
